The Solar P1 Croc Pod is a premium carp rod pod built as a modern redesign of Solar's ground-hugging Croc concept. It is aimed at anglers who want a very stable pod for demanding carp venues, rather than a light occasional-use support.

The chassis uses twin main bars for rigidity and single upright components for extra strength. Solar also widens the front and rear bar layout, with outer-fitted leg attachments to improve stability when rods are set low or spread wide.

Independent leg angle adjustment is a major part of the design. The World Wide-style ILAS system helps the pod adapt to uneven banks, wooden platforms and big-water swims where rod angle can matter. Solar fits semi quick-release 3/8 BSF thread fittings to the Stubby legs, allowing longer legs or banksticks to be swapped in when the terrain needs more height.
