Product Information
For long-distance casting, the Skeater Realist WS reels pair a classic big-pit layout with a lightweight construction and premium finish. Slow worm-shaft oscillation lays line evenly and keeps the retrieve smooth, while the 4.7:1 gear ratio suits both the 5K and 6K.
A stainless-steel main shaft and 5+1 stainless-steel ball bearings provide the reel’s strength and smooth, quiet running.
The multi-disc precision fast-drag system gives responsive pressure adjustment, with 15kg (33lb) of drag power available when fishing calls for firm control.
A spring-loaded oversized line clip supports accurate casting, and the floating line guard protects line during casting and retrieval. The 5K takes 250m of 0.30mm line and retrieves 90cm per turn, and the 6K takes 300m of 0.35mm line and retrieves 97cm.
The 5K size weighs 582g and the 6K size weighs 796g.
