Savage Gear Mutant Rat Soft 24cm 42g
Product Information
A slow-sinking rat imitation for pike, the Savage Gear Mutant Rat Soft is made for fishing along margins, over weed and around structure where a rat or small mammal would be swimming.
Its soft body compresses easily when a fish takes it, helping the fish hold on briefly before the hooks are set.
The flexible ribbed body has large curled legs and a long straight rat-style tail that move with little forward motion.
Fine limb details add secondary movement during slow retrieves and short pauses, and the body can be rigged with a Mutant Rat Hard Head, a large EWG hook or a Corkscrew Rig.
This 24cm model weighs 42g and is the smaller size in the range, suited to lighter surface gear. It comes as one unrigged soft body in Brown or Pink Pearl, with a 30cm 85g size also made in the range.
