Penn Tidal XT Beach Caster 4-8oz Rod

Product Information

Penn’s Tidal XT Beach Caster uses a 36T and 40T high-modulus carbon blank for a lightweight, responsive and very slim build. It is made for use with either a fixed spool reel or a multiplier, and carries Fuji deep-pressed frame guides with Alconite rings for saltwater use.

Carbon X-Wrap technology adds strength to the blank and reduces twisting for better casting accuracy and control. The rod also has an X-Shrink casting grip for control through the cast, while its glow-in-the-dark tip makes bites easier to see in low light.

The range comes in 13ft, 14ft and 15ft 9in lengths, all with a 4oz to 8oz casting weight and three sections. The 13ft model measures 3.96m, weighs about 633g and has 10 Fuji deep-pressed frame guides.
