Product Information
Okuma’s Scorpio spinning reel uses a corrosion-resistant graphite body with black and purple metal parts. Its ported Cyclonic Flow Rotor increases airflow through the rotor, helping it dry more quickly and minimising corrosion when the reel becomes wet.
Quick-set infinite anti-reverse engages the reel in one direction for firm hook sets. Precision Elliptical Gearing regulates spool oscillation for even line lay, while the multi-disc Japanese oiled felt drag provides smooth, consistent pressure.
This reel has a machine-cut aluminium spool and a graphite spare spool, plus a zinc handle with a TPE flat knob. The reversible 5.0:1 model weighs 302g, has 8kg maximum drag and holds 280m of 0.25mm line, 185m of 0.30mm line or 130m of 0.35mm line.
