The pattern combines the hooking behaviour of a straight point with the durability associated with a beaked design, while the enlarged eye accommodates heavier hooklinks. It is well suited to demanding carp presentations where strength and clean penetration matter.

CARBIDE 617 carbon steel alloy keeps the wire comparatively light while providing the strength needed for hard-fighting fish. Pinpoint Claw hooks come in micro-barbed and barbless versions, with ten hooks per packet.
