The Korda Longchuck Clear Mono is designed for long-range fishing, where its ultra-low stretch lets the rod blank compress more quickly during the cast.

Its very low water absorption keeps the line lightweight in the air and helps you feel the lead down at range or in a crosswind.

The clear monofilament is made without dye, as dyes add weight and increase stretch. Its high breaking strain to diameter ratio reduces both line weight and drag compared with an equivalent breaking strain.

It comes on 1,000m spools in 10lb, 12lb, 15lb, 17lb and 20lb breaking strains. Diameters run from 0.27mm at 10lb to 0.40mm at 20lb, with 0.30mm, 0.33mm and 0.35mm between.
