Product Information
Korda builds the Kaizen Green Spod Rod with the same technology and manufacturing process as its Kaizen Platinum series, using more readily available materials for the blank. It is designed in the UK to Korda's Kaizen specification.
The fast tapered blank helps build compression when casting and has a low glare matt paint finish. Seaguide TDG lightweight stainless steel guides run from a 50mm butt guide to a 16mm tip guide.
The reel seat is a secure screw down type, the handle is Japanese shrink wrap with a flared butt, and the butt cap is injection moulded.
The rod comes in 12ft and 13ft lengths, both in two sections with a 5lb test curve and a casting weight of 6-8oz. The 12ft weighs 385g and the 13ft weighs 425g.
