The Drennan Acolyte Distance Feeder Rods are specialist long-range feeder rods for anglers fishing big stillwaters, reservoirs, wide rivers and venues where accuracy at range is important. They sit above general commercial feeder rods because they are built around casting power and line management.

The Distance Feeder design uses a crisp, responsive blank that can handle bigger bombs and feeders while still retaining enough fish-playing feel. That balance matters when fishing for bream, barbel or quality carp at range.

Drennan's 13ft extension model gives a 1.9m packdown and is intended for very long-range work with feeders up to 100g. Other distance models sit in the same family with large-guide tips and line ratings suited to stronger mono or fine braid.

The supplied carbon tips and larger rings help bite indication and shock-leader clearance at distance. That makes the rod more controlled when leader knots need to pass cleanly through the guides. This is the wrong tool for tight island pegs or close commercial method fishing.
