Product Information
Drennan's Acolyte Barbel rods have a progressive semi-through action with reserves of fish-playing power, and they come in 1½lb and 1¾lb test curves for specialist barbel fishing on rivers.
The blanks are lightweight, slim and rigid, and their fast, crisp action reduces wind bounce and unwanted tip movement while giving feel and contact with leads, feeders and fish. The tip is fractionally softer and finished in hi-vis white, and the handle is full cork.
Drennan recommends reel lines from 8lb to 12lb.
