All three Daiwa Black Widow Pike Deadbait Rods combine power with a mid to progressive action.
The blanks are Daiwa's HMC+ carbon with a progressive power build. The guides have stainless steel frames with Zirconia ceramic and are suited to mono or braid.
Each rod has a cork handle with duo tone camo EVA and a hook holder, and is finished with a mottled water pattern on the butt and a matt finish on the tip.
The 10ft model has a 4lb test curve and is primarily for boat work. For casting baits from the bank there are two 12ft rods. The 3lb is the most popular model, and the 3.5lb gives more casting power and playing control for bigger baits or fishing further.
