Daiwa Basia X45 TT Alps
Product Information
Daiwa’s Basia X45 TT Alps uses a carbon core armoured with X45, with revised X45 bias-carbon placement and an MT magnum taper profile. This construction refines the rod’s torque resistance and straight-line accuracy, with compression and release through the cast.
The reduced-diameter blank has an MT tip action, Minima 4 guides and a Fuji anti-frap tip ring. The redesigned blank and guide set reduce weight by almost 10%, while the silk matt finish gives the rod a low-glare surface.
It comes as a 12ft rod in 3.25lb and 3.75lb test curves, with 50mm butt guides. An Alps ARD-B black aluminium reel seat sits above the profiled slim Duplon handle, while blue trim rings and a metal butt cap carry through the custom finish.
