The Daiwa 20 Whisker 25QDA Reel puts big pit features into a compact, light power reel for carp fishing at short and medium range. Its 25mm spool stroke pairs a large, extra-wide spool with a small body, keeping the reel tough and light while casting well.
The rim of the LC Long Cast Spool is matched to the spool taper so the line meets only the friction it needs on the cast. That lets the line flow more easily through the rod rings and reduces backlash, and the HIP High Impact Line Clip sits on the spool.
Inside a Magsealed Zaion body, Digigear II gearing drives a DS5 Air Rotor with an Air Bail, while Cross Wrap lays the line. The handle folds with one touch and has a T-shaped knob, Infinite Anti-Reverse is fitted, and a spare spool is supplied.
