Product Information
Daiwa’s 19 Basia 45 SCW-QD is a big-pit carp reel with a 45mm spool stroke for long-range fishing. Its Slow Cross Wrap line lay works with the longcast spool edge to reduce line bedding and keep the spool loaded for smooth, accurate casting.
A lightweight Zaion carbon body houses the CNC-cut Tough Digigear, while the stainless-steel axis is made to handle the strains of long-range carp fishing.
Seven ball bearings, an Air Bail and Twist Buster II line roller support smooth retrieval while reducing line twist and friction at the roller.
Quick Drag lets you return from a controlled free-spool setting to your chosen drag in less than one turn, and Infinite Anti-Reverse gives immediate hook-setting power.
The reel has a 104cm retrieve, a CNC-cut aluminium handle with soft-touch knob, and a supplied deep spare spool holding 530m of 0.35mm mono.
