Asso Tapered Shock Leaders

The Asso Tapered Shock Leaders are extra-long nylon leaders for shore casting with long rods and drops. The taper runs from a thinner end to a thicker shock-leader end, so the two lines can be joined with a smaller, neater knot.

The small leader knot reduces weed build-up, while the nylon has good abrasion resistance. These leaders cast smoothly and knot well to the main line, with good knot strength.

Each leader measures 15m overall, including an 8m parallel section. Taper combinations include 0.30 to 0.50mm, 0.35 to 0.65mm, 0.35 to 0.70mm and 0.37 to 0.75mm, with five leaders on each spool.
