Century C2 SP (Command & Control) Carp Rods

The C2 SP series combines Century's newer C2 technology with the action and power of its long-established SP rods. It adds power over the standard C2 for larger venues, fishing at range, larger leads and bigger PVA bags.

The fast taper action leaves enough subtlety in the tip to avoid hook pulls, and the butt section comes into use as the rod is loaded with more energy.

Higher grade carbon gives a slightly lower diameter butt section, and an overlap joint keeps the action continuous between tip and butt. A 1k-1k carbon outer weave runs from the butt to the top of the tip, sealed with a custom PTFE and silicone low scratch matt finish.

The Century carbon 1k-1k reel seat has matt black metal hoods, the handle is full shrink, and AT Minima TiCH guides are fitted in size 50-16.

There are three models, a 12ft 3.60lb, a 12ft 3.75lb and a 13ft 3.75lb. Century describes the 12ft 3.75lb as having a bit more power than the 12ft 3.60lb, and the 13ft 3.75lb as slightly smoother in casting and playing action because of its extra length.

The blank and rod are designed and manufactured in the United Kingdom.
