The Avid Extremity Ultra-Series rods have fast taper blanks and rapid recovery for long range carp fishing, where casting distance, accuracy and control matter. The 30T and 40T high-modulus Toray carbon construction gives the blank a lightweight, responsive and powerful feel.
Its multi-directional carbon lay-up adds stability under compression for straighter lead trajectories, while the 50mm to 16mm PrecisionFlow Anti-Frap guides have ceramic inserts. Double-leg and single-leg frames reduce weight while retaining strength and smooth line flow.
The rods come in 12ft 3.5lb, 3.75lb and 4lb test curves, and in 13ft 3.75lb and 4lb test curves, alongside dedicated 12ft and 13ft spod rods. The 12ft 3.5lb rod weighs 350g.
