Product Information
Avid’s Ex-Cast 14000 brings lightweight big-pit design to modern carp fishing. Its satin-black finish has gloss-black detailing, while a graphite body and cover surround a high-strength reinforced hollow rotor. The reel weighs 587g.
Super-slow oscillation gives even line lay, and the rapid front drag moves from locked-up to free spool in under half a turn. A cold-forged, double-anodised 45mm aluminium spool carries a line-friendly clip and holds 0.40mm/400m, 0.35mm/550m or 0.30mm/750m.
A machined aluminium handle with a soft-touch knob, stainless-steel main shaft, 5+1 stainless-steel ball bearings and a 4.6:1 gear ratio make up the reel. A bail-arm rotor lock, oversized anti-twist line roller and instant anti-reverse switch complete it.
Standard and deep spare spools are available separately, and the deep spool holds 0.40mm/550m, 0.35mm/700m or 0.30mm/950m.
