Avid Ex-Cast 10000 Reel
Product Information
Designed for modern carp angling, the Avid Ex-Cast 10000 is a lightweight, compact big-pit reel with a satin black finish and gloss black detailing. Super-slow oscillation lays line evenly across the spool.
It takes 240m of 0.40mm, 290m of 0.35mm or 400m of 0.30mm line, and weighs 520g.
The rapid front drag moves from locked-up to free spool in under half a turn. A cold-forged, double-anodised aluminium spool carries a line-friendly clip, while the machined aluminium handle has a soft-touch knob. A bail-arm rotor lock is also fitted.
A stainless-steel main shaft works with a 4.6:1 gear ratio and 5+1 stainless-steel ball bearings. The graphite body and cover, high-strength reinforced hollow rotor, oversized anti-twist line roller and instant anti-reverse switch complete the build.
A separately available standard spare spool matches the fitted capacity, while the deep spare spool holds up to 560m of 0.30mm line.
