Product Information
The Abu Garcia 506 MK2 is a closed-face reel that keeps the original 506’s name and cosmetics with updated internals.
A more secure handle assembly, carbon washers in the Syncro drag and revised gear components make the drag more efficient and the reel smoother and more powerful.
The body is an advanced polymer with an aluminium front cone. An on and off instant anti-reverse switch, an improved gear lock and a more positive push-button and pin release are fitted, and the ceramic-coated line pin reduces wear.
An arrow on the rotor shows which way it comes off, and the reel has saltwater protection.
It has a 3.9:1 ratio, recovers 65cm of line per turn and weighs 288g, with a capacity of 200m of 0.22mm line. A deluxe reel case is supplied with three shallow spools and one deep spool.
