Trakker’s Clinga Captive Backweight is a mechanical captive backlead system that pins the mainline to the lakebed near the rod tips. Its gate latch gives a smooth, secure release, while the heavy backweight releases on the strike for direct contact with the fish.

A one-metre heavy lead-free leader at the backweight end reduces tangles. It runs into nine metres of Hi-Viz UV-reactive red cord, which glows under UV light in low-light conditions and winds back onto the winder for storage.
