Product Information

The Trakker 20k Power Pack keeps mobile phones, tablets and other compatible devices charged on the bank. Its 18W Power Delivery USB-C output supports fast charging, while the slim body is easy to carry when charging devices on the move.

Long-lasting Li-polymer cells sit behind charge technology that adapts for stable, protected charging across a range of devices.

Twin USB ports and a USB-C port can charge three devices together, while triple protection keeps the unit at a low temperature during high-power discharge.

The 20,000mAh capacity provides four full charges for a large modern mobile such as an iPhone 16 or similar device. It recharges through 30W USB-C PD in under four hours or through Micro USB, and four white LEDs show power level and charge status.

The pack measures 18.5 x 8 x 2.2cm, weighs 540g and comes with a micro-USB charge cable.

Trakker 20k Power Pack Review

Not every angler needs wireless charging or a 12V socket, and the Trakker 20k Power Pack keeps things simple. It's a slim 20,000mAh pack with Li-polymer cells, a USB-C Power Delivery port and two quick-charge USB ports, and all three ports can work at the same time.

So, what do you give up for the low price? There are no extras like a wireless pad or a built-in light, and it isn't the biggest pack around, but it charges a phone quickly, refills fast through USB-C and slips into a jacket pocket or a small rucksack with ease.

For anglers who just need a phone and head torch kept alive, I think it's hard to argue with.

How well is it built?

The 20k measures 18.5 x 8 x 2.2cm and weighs 540g, so it's one of the slimmer packs for the bank and easy to carry on a roving session. The olive finish and rounded edges keep it low-key, and the ports sit along one end, so leads run out in one direction when it's in a pocket.

Inside are long-lasting Li-polymer cells, and the charge technology adapts to give stable, protected charging across different devices.

Triple protection keeps the unit at a low temperature during high-power discharge, which is reassuring when it's charging a phone next to you in the bivvy overnight.

To be fair, it's a plain everyday power bank rather than a toughened outdoor one like the IP65-rated Fox Halo Wireless Power 27K, so I'd keep it in a bag or the bivvy when it rains. For a pack at this price, though, I think the build is solid, and the 8.0 is fair.

Capacity & Output

So, how far will 20,000mAh go? That's 74Wh, which is enough for around four full charges of a large modern phone like an iPhone 16. It's a sensible amount for a pack this slim, though it's well short of the 26,950mAh in the RidgeMonkey Vault C-Smart Wireless.

The USB-C port supports Power Delivery for fast charging a compatible phone, and the two USB ports are QC3.0 quick-charge outputs, giving up to 2.4A each and 3.4A between them. That makes three outputs in all, so a phone, a head torch and a mate's phone can charge together.

Recharging is quick too, as a 30W USB-C PD charger fills it in under four hours, and you can fall back on Micro USB with the supplied cable if that's all you have.

The 7.5 reflects the modest capacity and the lack of a 12V output, but for phones and head torches it covers what most anglers need.

Bankside Features

This is a no-frills pack. Four white LEDs show the power level and charge status, a single button checks the charge and switches it on, and there's no Qi pad, built-in torch or 12V output to add to the list.

Is that a problem? For a lot of anglers it won't be, because a phone and a head torch are pretty much the only things that need charging on most sessions.

The slim shape helps too, as it tucks into a bedchair bag or a carryall pocket without taking up room, and that suits the mobile angler who moves swims through the day.

Overall, the 7.5 is a fair score for a pack that covers the basics well but doesn't add anything clever for life on the bank. If you want a torch, solar panel or wireless charging, the Wolf Solar Powerbank has all three in a lighter pack.

Is it good value for money?

This is where the 20k shines. It's one of the cheaper packs from a big carp brand, and for that you get 20,000mAh, USB-C Power Delivery, two QC3.0 outputs and a fast 30W recharge, which is a strong spec for very little outlay.

Next to the Wolf Solar Powerbank, it holds more charge and charges a phone faster by cable, while the Wolf adds solar, wireless charging and a torch.

The RidgeMonkey Vault C-Smart Wireless gives you a 12V socket and a wireless pad, but it's a mid-priced pack rather than a budget one, so you'd only step up if you need those features.

Overall, I'd recommend the Trakker 20k to anglers on a budget, mobile and short-session anglers who want a slim pack in a pocket, and anyone whose main charging is a phone and a head torch, without paying for features they won't use.
