Thinking Anglers Out-Turned Eye Hooks
Product Information
Thinking Anglers Out-Turned Eye Hooks are barbless hooks with a 15° out-turned eye, a long tapered straight point and a super-slippery PTFE coating.
They are forged from super-strong, extra-heavy gauge high-carbon steel and are intended mainly for stiff monofilament and fluorocarbon materials used in pop-up sections of Hinged and Chod rigs. The design is also described for bottom-bait and D-rig presentations.
The angled eye helps the hooklink material align with the point while allowing the hook to sit at an aggressive angle without reducing the gape. The available barbless sizes are 4, 5, 6 and 7, in packs of 10.
That intermediary sizing gives useful scope for fine-tuning presentations when matching hook size and rig materials.
