Product Information
Sonik built this compact specialist rod for barbel on running water, with a progressive test curve that suits larger rivers where a heavier weight is needed to hold in the current. It also suits heavier diameter lines.
The blank is high modulus C6 carbon with a tough RAW-Carbon finish, and it has the slim, light Xtractor action with progressive power.
Super-light Seaguide TDG double leg black guides with an ADAMAN coating are fitted, and the tip ring is a Seaguide XUT seamless-weld anti-frap ring with a slimline Zirconia insert. The joint is Sonik's VARI-TAPER construction.
A matt black DPS reel seat is fitted, and the slim Japanese shrink rubber handle has a subtle flared end and a black anodised butt cap laser etched with the S logo. The rod weighs 211g, has a transport length of 127cm (50in) and carries a 30-T12 guide pattern.
