Product Information
Long-distance carp work is where the Sonik SK-47 Carbon 10000 comes into its own. Its lightweight, high-strength carbon body and rotor are paired with a 45mm long-cast aluminium spool, giving you a reel designed to put more distance into a cast.
A wormshaft system with slow oscillation lays mono or braid evenly on the spool.
The micro-adjustable front drag uses Quick Torque Drag for smooth, quick adjustment when playing big fish, while the floating rotor line guard and oversized twist-free roller help keep line controlled during casting and retrieving.
Twin spring-loaded captive line clips let you retain two clipped distances, and the ambidextrous aluminium handle has a soft-touch rubber T-grip. This 10000-size reel weighs 665g, retrieves up to 1.02m per turn and holds 480m of 0.35mm line.
