Product Information
Shimano's Specialist TX Lite is a range of compact, retractable carp rods in 9ft and 10ft lengths for close and mid-range fishing. They are made for stalking, boat fishing and small to medium waters.
Each rod is built on a slim High Modulus Full Carbon blank with a crisp, responsive action, and has the strength to handle big carp in tight, snaggy swims.
Lightweight Seaguide metal guides run up to a Seaguide Zirconia tip guide, and a Shimano custom DPS reel seat sits on a slim shrink tube handle.
The 9ft rod (2.74m) packs down to 112cm and the 10ft rod (3.05m) to 127cm. Test curves are 2.75lb, 3lb, 3.25lb and a 3.75lb Intensity model.
