Three-piece construction lets the Prologic Combat-Trio Spod & Marker Rods be stored in a case as compact as the Combat Trio rods, and they will also fit in any telescopic rod bag. The action is smooth, with a good power reserve.
The blank is 24T carbon with a low resin content and a matte black finish, and the thread wraps are gloss black. Lightweight Minima guides start at a 50mm ring that comes with a protector.
The rods have a DPS reel seat and a full-length Japanese shrink tube handle, with markings at 30cm and 50cm from the reel seat for precise line measurement and a discreet orange marking on each ferrule.
The 12ft rod packs down to 127cm and has a 52cm handle. The 13ft packs down to 138cm with a 56cm handle. Both have a 5lb test curve.
