The Preston Extremity SD Feeder Reel is the more specialist Preston option. It is aimed squarely at feeder anglers who want power, drag control and line management rather than a small all-round coarse reel on busy commercial and natural venues.

The important upgrade is the Speed Drag system. A short adjustment range lets the drag move from locked down to loose quickly, which is useful when a hard-fighting fish changes direction near the net and hooklengths are under pressure.

Preston keeps the Worm Drive system from the earlier Extremity reels. That matters for feeder work because winding heavy feeders back from distance puts more load through the reel than light float fishing or short commercial work. The range comes in 520 and 620 sizes.
