Product Information
The Penn Vantage XT Longcast Reels are big-pit reels for carp fishing, aimed at anglers pursuing larger carp. The XRC carbon-infused body and rotor combine rigidity with low weight, while CNC-machined metal gearing provides a durable internal drive.
Quick Drag changes between free spool and drag at speed when a fish takes.
X-Slow Leveline lays more than 50 wraps of line during one spool oscillation, supporting accurate long-distance casting. The Rocket Spool Design works with that line lay, and 9+1 sealed ball bearings keep the reel running smoothly while winding or playing fish.
Its sealed drag is protected from water and dirt.
An aluminium spare spool comes with the reel, along with two sets of line reducers that fit the spool so you can use only the line required. The 7000 carries mono capacities of 530m/0.30mm, 400m/0.35mm or 305m/0.40mm; the 8000 carries 550m/0.35mm, 430m/0.40mm or 340m/0.45mm.
It comes in 7000 and 8000 sizes.
