Penn Tidal XT 453 K Hybrid Sensitip Rod
Product Information
The Tidal XT 453 combines a slim, lightweight 36T and 40T carbon blank with a Hybrid Sensitip for surfcasting. Its responsive blank has Carbon X-wrap technology, which adds power and reduces twisting for more accurate casting.
The Hybrid Sensitip is slimmer than Penn's regular solid carbon tips and gives stronger bite registration, particularly in calm water. It has saltwater-resistant Fuji K-type guides with Alconite rings and a saltwater-resistant reel seat.
It measures 4.53m, breaks into three sections and comes in 100g to 250g or 100g to 300g casting weights. An X-shrink casting grip is fitted, while the tip glows in the dark.
