Penn Sea Tidal Xt Longcast Reel
Product Information
The Penn Sea Tidal XT Longcast Reel suits surfcasting when long-distance casting is the priority. Its strong yet lightweight big-pit format uses a rigid XRC carbon body and rotor, while CNC gearing is machined from premium metals.
A sealed drag with HT-100 carbon washers keeps water, dirt and sand outside.
Rocket Spool Design works with X-Slow Leveline to put more than 50 wraps of line on the spool during one oscillation. This gives neat line lay, helping line leave the spool freely on the cast and making long casts easier to retrieve.
Nine plus one sealed ball bearings keep winding and playing fish smooth.
Quick Drag switches rapidly between drag and free-spool functions. An aluminium spare spool and two sets of line reducers come with the reel, helping you avoid loading more line than needed.
It has a 4.8:1 ratio, 12kg maximum drag, weighs 497g and takes 530m of 0.30mm, 400m of 0.35mm or 305m of 0.40mm line. It comes in 7000 and 8000 sizes.
