Product Information
For surf casting, the Okuma Flite Surf Reel combines a lightweight C-40X carbon frame and side plates with an ultralight spool for ergonomic use. Its carbon-fibre drag system delivers 18kg of fish-stopping power.
The long-stroke spool lets line shoot off freely during the cast, while the one-piece bail and super-slow oscillation reduce friction. A DLC-coated Even Flow roller further reduces line friction and helps limit line twist.
A C-40X Cyclonic Flow rotor provides corrosion resistance, and the tangle guard stops line entering the shaft. The reel includes two spare spools: an 8000 aluminium spool and a 3000 POM spool.
