The NBRICE Carbon Snag Ears stop the rod coming off the bite alarm when snag fishing or fishing locked up, so a hard take cannot pull the rod free of the set-up.
They are made from carbon with stainless fittings and a wall thickness chosen for rigidity and strength. A thread built into the base lets the snag ears fit between the buzz bar and the bite alarm.
The 4 inch ears give plenty of room around the rod butt, and the carbon finish matches the rest of the NBRICE carbon bankware, such as their buzz bars and banksticks.
