Mr. Heater Portable Buddy Heater
Product Information
Mr. Heater's Portable Buddy is a radiant propane heater with two settings, 4,000 and 9,000 BTU, rated for spaces up to about 225 square feet. A piezo igniter lights it at the push of a button.
The heater shuts itself off if it is tipped over, if the pilot light goes out or if it senses that the oxygen level is getting low. It is approved for indoor and outdoor use, and it may shut off at altitudes above 7,000ft.
A fold-down handle is fitted for carrying, and the regulator swivels out to connect to a propane cylinder, which is not included. UK and US propane fittings differ, so check which bottle and fitting you will use.
Even with the oxygen sensor, keep the bivvy well aired, never sleep with it running and use a carbon monoxide alarm.
