Mitchell MX2 Pro Reel
Product Information
The Mitchell MX2 Pro is a spinning reel built around a lightweight graphite body and rotor. It runs on 4+1 ball bearings with infinite anti-reverse, and semi-slow oscillation lays line evenly onto the double-anodised aluminium spool.
A sealed drag system works through precise felt washers, and the reel has a thick bail arm, a die-cast aluminium handle and a flat TPE handle knob.
The MX2 Pro comes in 2500, 3000 and 4000 sizes with 5.1:1 gearing, and in 3000 HS and 4000 HS versions with 6.2:1 gearing.
The 2500 weighs 365g, has a 7.5kg maximum drag and holds 125m of 0.25mm mono, the 3000 holds 110m of 0.28mm, and the 4000 weighs 383g with a 9kg maximum drag.
