Okuma’s Custom Carp 7000 is a big-pit carp reel with a slim profile, a 325m/0.35mm spool capacity and a 4.5:1 gear ratio. It weighs 570g and uses a corrosion-resistant graphite housing around its internal mechanism.
A fast-folding aluminium handle with a wooden grip knob sits alongside an aluminium spool and round metal line clip. Three ball bearings and one roller bearing, a Quick-Set backwinder switch, worm gear transmission and an Even Flow line roller make up the reel’s running gear.
The Custom Carp 7000 also carries a Hydro Block slip system. Okuma includes a spare spool with the reel, giving you a second matching spool in the box.
