Product Information
The Lamson Guru S-Series is a large-arbour fly reel with updated spool geometry for faster retrieve rates. It comes in -5+ and -7+ sizes for #4/6 and #6/8 line ratings, both in the olive green finish.
Machined 6061 aluminium and stainless steel make up the reel, finished in Type II Hard Alox. Open porting reduces weight and improves line drying, while the integrated counterbalance and curved arbor add strength.
Lamson uses its enclosed Sealed Conical Drag System for braking. The -5+ holds WF6 with 100 yards of 20lb backing, while the -7+ holds WF8 with 180 yards of 20lb backing.
