Product Information
Korda's IQ2 is a softer version of the original IQ fluorocarbon hooklink material for general rig work. It retains enough stiffness for boom use, while its supple character allows even light hook baits, including a single pop-up corn or real maize, to move freely.
It also lets IQ D-rigs work effectively.
Pure fluorocarbon has the same light refractive index as water, making it almost invisible when immersed. IQ2 has improved breaking strain and abrasion resistance, and correctly tied knots retain good strength. Korda recommends Grinner or Palomar knots.
Breaking strains run from 10lb to 20lb, with corresponding diameters of 0.32mm, 0.35mm, 0.40mm and 0.47mm across its four breaking strain versions. Each spool contains 20m of material for rig tying.
