Product Information
Gardner Ultra Skin is a super-soft, skinned braided hooklink for carp and specialist angling. Its unique polymer skin lets the material straighten with fingertip pressure, while the braided inner is colour matched after stripping.
It is easy to strip and holds together when a well-tied figure-of-eight loop knot is tightened.
The material has a matt finish and sinks quickly, so it settles flush to the lake bed. Its soft feel and matt colours are intended to help it blend into the aquatic environment, and the material is supplied in Green, Brown and Silt.
It comes on 20m spools in 15lb, 25lb and 35lb breaking strains. The 15lb material measures 0.50mm, while the 25lb version is 0.55mm. The 35lb strain is intended for demanding big-carp situations, including fishing near snags or pads.
