The Daiwa Tournament SLR Mono 300m uses UWR Ultra Water Repellent treatment for clean line travel. Its non-absorbing finish keeps less water returning to the spool and helps the line maintain its intended form.
This monofilament sinks because its specific gravity is heavier than water. Daiwa gives it controlled stretch for improved bite detection, alongside high linear strength, abrasion resistance and high knot strength.
Clear one-metre sections alternate with dark grey two-metre sections for accurate adjustment on and off the clip. It comes in 5lb, 6lb, 8lb and 10lb breaking strains, with 300m on each spool.
