Gardner Hydro-Sink Braid
Product Information
Gardner Hydro-Sink Braid is a fast-sinking, low-diameter braided main line for carp fishing on lakes and pike fishing with deadbaits. Its Dyneema core has a woven Kevlar overwrap, creating a strong braid that sinks and lies flush to the lake bed.
Gardner applies a Teflon coating to reduce friction and improve abrasion resistance. The braid has approximately 4% stretch, giving better bite indication and contact with fish, especially at long range. Its abrasion resistance also helps protect it from general wear and tear.
Breaking strain is rated at minimum knot strength with Grinner and Palomar knots. Hydro-Sink comes in low-viz dark green on 200m and 600m spools, with 15lb and 22lb strengths.
