ESP Cryogen Gripper is an all-round beaked-point carp hook developed around a long, curved point, a 10-degree in-turned eye and heavy forging. The Gripper pattern is intended to create secure hook holds, while the slim wire gauge preserves a fine, sharp point.

Cryogenic and high-temperature tempering are described as improving strength, wear resistance and point durability.

It comes in barbed and barbless, in sizes 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. The barbed version carries a neat micro barb, and a PTFE Teflon coating helps it slip home and resist wear. It suits bottom-bait carp rigs where you want a durable beaked point on a strong, dependable hook.
