Product Information
Long range feeder fishing at 100m and beyond is the job of this Drennan Acolyte Distance Feeder rod, which handles bombs and feeders up to 100g. It measures 13ft (3.96m) fully extended and is a two-piece rod with a crisp, responsive blank for casting accuracy.
The rod packs down to 1.9m and can be left set up and stored in hard or soft rod cases. It has SiC guides, a Fuji DPS screw-down reel seat, a full cork handle and an engraved butt cap.
Drennan matches it with mono reel lines from 6lb to 10lb (2.7kg to 4.5kg) or braid from 0.08 to 0.12mm.
Carbon Drennan Distance Tips in 2oz, 2.5oz and 3oz are supplied, and their larger guides improve casting distance and let shock leader knots pass through easily. Drennan also makes spare Distance Tips in 1.5oz, 4oz and 6oz.
Distance Tips fit only the Acolyte Distance Feeder rods and do not fit other Acolyte feeder rods.
