Daiwa custom designed the Supercast feeder rods as a casting tool for reaching big distances on big waters where carp are the target.
The long high modulus blank has a high loading point, and the rods take dedicated, shortened carbon quiver tips of 4oz, 5oz and 6oz. The reduced quiver tip length means more of the rod's full length is delivering power.
An extra-long handle lets you apply more power, and the quiver tips have an anti-tangle tip guide.
There are two 13ft rods, the XP for loads up to 180g and the XXP for loads up to 220g. Daiwa also makes two 14ft Supercasts, again in XP and XXP.
