Product Information
HMC+ carbon runs throughout the Daiwa Black Widow Dropshot, a super slim rod with a sensitive solid carbon tip. Its ULS rating handles lures across the 1-9g range, and a weight of 110g adds to the feel needed for finesse lure fishing.
The guides are stainless steel frames with Zirconia ceramic, which makes the rod suitable for monofil or fine braid mainlines. It has a DPS reel seat, a cork handle with duo tone camo EVA and a hook holder.
The butt is finished with a mottled water pattern and the tip with a matt finish.
Daiwa also makes an 8ft Black Widow with a fine, hollow tip for casting light lures of 7-28g.
