Product Information
The Daiwa Basia 45 SLD QD is built for long-distance carp fishing, combining a slim AIR METAL magnesium body with a deeper spool for Super Long Distance performance. The 45mm Ultra Long Cast spool sits in a reel that retains the Basia's weight-saving body design.
Daiwa has reinforced the main shaft and gearing for toughness. QD Quick Drag and the HIP High Impact Line Clip are included, alongside a ZAION rotor, AirBail, TwistBuster 2 and Infinite Anti-Reverse. The finish is all black.
At 485g, the reel has a 4.1:1 gear ratio, eight ball bearings and capacity for 300m of 0.35mm line. A machine-cut aluminium handle carries a wooden knob, and Daiwa supplies a spare spool with the reel.
