The Daiwa Air Tech Pole 16m is made for elite anglers who want a responsive pole at full length. Daiwa uses 20 Japanese pre-preg carbons and 98 redesigned material patterns to make it stronger, stiffer and more responsive.
A Super 6 section adds further rigidity for shallow fishing.
Commercial, Power and F1 kits have Dual Roller side pullers, which keep elastic running smoothly in either pulling direction. The Match kits are reinforced for a side puller and come with a spare Dual Roller. Every kit is cut and fitted with a UK-made PTFE bush.
The 16m package includes twelve Pro kits, two cupping kits, two No4 sections, the Super 6 and a holdall. It measures 15.2m, or 16m with the Super Light PHEX extension, and weighs 1,395g before the extension is fitted.
The pole has 10 sections plus PHEX and a maximum recommended elastic rating of 10, rising to 20 with the extension.
