Daiwa’s 23 Emblem 45 SCW QD-OT is a reel built around a 45mm LC Long Cast spool and Slow Cross Wrap line lay for extreme casting distances. The twin-lip spool edge and controlled SCW line release reduce friction as line leaves the spool.
A DS4 body carries the ZAION V Air Rotor, whose light, rigid construction maintains smooth rotation. Digigear II provides ultra-smooth running and power transmission for retrieving a rig over long distances, while the machine-cut handle has a soft-touch knob.
QD(M) Quick Drag moves from free spool to fully locked in one turn of the drag knob, and the metal HIP line clip holds the line. Its 4.9:1 gearing retrieves 104cm per turn. The C shallow spool holds 300m of 0.35mm line, and the spare LD deep spool holds 530m of 0.35mm.
