Product Information
Daiwa’s 20 Saltiga LD Multiplier Reel is a lever-drag reel family for sea-boat fishing, with single-speed and two-speed models. A one-piece machined aluminium frame and side plate keep the bearings and gears aligned, reducing flex and binding under pressure.
The machined aluminium rod clamp keeps it firmly secured.
Inside, oversized polished stainless-steel main and pinion gears mesh together, while large spool bearings reduce side load. Daiwa’s ATD drag stays cool and maintains consistent maximum pressure during the fight.
The machined aluminium spool resists bending and outward expansion when line is wound on tightly under high drag.
Six CRBB ball bearings support consistent operation and longer reel life. Single-speed and smaller two-speed models use soft-touch rubber handles, while the larger 50 and 60 two-speed reels carry a long offset aluminium power handle.
The 20H has a 6.3:1 gear ratio and weighs 495g.
