Product Information
The Avid VTX Bite Alarm uses an IQ-Sense roller wheel with bi-directional sensing to register forward and backward movement.
It has eight sensitivity levels and is designed to eliminate false bleeps, while the twin LEDs have green, blue, red and yellow settings with an optional night light.
Soft-touch side buttons control the power, LED settings and tone, with separate dials for volume and sensitivity. A Piezo speaker provides sound indication, and the 2.5mm power-out socket accepts illuminated swingers or bobbins behind its weather-sealed bung.
The weather-sealed case protects the digital internals and runs on two AAA batteries, with a cyan LED showing when they need replacing. Deep rubber-lined ears hold the rod securely, while the no-twist 3/8-inch thread, locking collar and rubber washer give a firm mounting.
A clip-on hardcase and screwdriver are included.
